Academy of General Dentistry In March 1951, a small group of men gathered together to create a dental study club that would become the Academy of General Dentistry. At the time, good lectures were scarce, hands-on courses were impossible to find and existing study clubs were not meeting the needs of the greater dental population. These men were united by a common goal of improving quality care through lifelong learning. Today, the Academy continues to open doors for over 37,000 of its members-doors to greater CE opportunities, important oral health initiatives, camaraderie among colleagues and representation within the profession. visit website |
